I’ve got a special treat for you: we are talking about sales funnels!
If you already know the ins-and-outs of funnels, stick around! There’s going to be some good information in here and a freebie along the way.
First, let’s get this part out of the way: YES. You DO need a funnel.
A sales funnel is a multi-step process that moves prospects into purchasers, browsers into buyers.
Funnels can be short, long, stacked, and targeted— there’s no one-size-fits all here. They can be customized for every buyer journey in every industry.
If you have something to sell, you need a funnel.
Funnels matter because relationships matter. With a strong sales funnel, you are in control of every aspect of your relationship with the customer. You get to determine the sales journey they will take. Will you introduce an offer quickly, or will you choose to nurture that lead? Will you stack several funnels or keep it short and sweet?
A well-designed sales funnel gives you the opportunity to do two things things
1. Learn about your buyers.
Funnels are incredible sales tools, but they can also help you grow your business exponentially. You can examine different points along your funnel to see what’s working, and what isn’t. Where are customers dropping off like flies? What offers are they jumping on immediately? You can tweak and adjust your funnels until they are running smooth as butter. Which brings us to the next point….
2. Take a step back.
An amazing funnel is the best, because once it’s running smoothly you can just… let it do its thing! Um, how great is that?! Once you’ve got customers flowing through your funnel without a hitch, you can focus on creating more funnels, more revenue streams, more time for you!
