This week I’m pulling back the curtain on my biz to show you what goes on behind the scenes.
We both know that there is a LOT of work that goes into running a successful business. Administrative stuff, marketing, social media, onboarding clients, onboarding assistants, onboarding assistants for your assistants, planning, networking…
I’m out of breath from just typing all that and that’s not even the whole list of things we do!
If you’re anything like me, then the idea of a vacation sounds like a total joke. How could you possibly find time to take a break?
Sorry, but this isn’t a poolside-with-a-drink kind of vacation.
This is a take-a-break-from-work-to-do-more-work kind of a vacation.
Every six weeks, I schedule one week where I don’t take sales or discovery calls.
Instead, I plan out all the things that keep my company ticking. A typical bizcation (I just made that up) consists of me planning the next 6-12 weeks-worth of content and actions.
That includes:
• Planning and writing all of my emails and blog posts
• Scheduling content for social media
• Creating courses for my academy
• Filming videos
• Planning trainings
This approach helps me see the big picture for where I want my business to go, and how I will get my leads to follow me there.
