Mind(set) Over Matter

I’ve had the pleasure of working with amazing women across tons of niches who are absolutely slaying the game.

Wanna know what they all have in common?

They are unabashedly, unapologetically confident that they are the best at what they do.

Pride is often viewed as a negative thing. We think of prideful people as rude, arrogant, and uncaring. But it shouldn’t be that way!

As a business owner, you have to be confident that your business is the solution.

If you don’t think you’re good enough, or smart enough, or rich enough, or just enough-enough then why would your dream clients choose you?

Finding that confidence can be super hard! I also know a ton of competent, incredible women that think they aren’t enough.

Let me know if one of these harmful mindsets sounds familiar:

😨 Impostor syndrome You ever know you’re the best but you’re also not totally surethat you’re the best? That’s the impostor syndrome talking. Impostor syndrome is one’s inability to believe that they are deserving of success and that their success is a result of their effort and ability. That pervasive feeling of “I don’t deserve to be here” can undermine their success and their ability to market.

🤑 Scarcity Mindset Freelancers and solopreneurs in particular suffer from this one. The scarcity mindset is the belief that there is a finite amount of {insert-money/success/clients-here} and that they have to grab as much of it as they can. This mindset is super limiting for growth because it often leads to taking on work and clients that don’t align with one’s values, goals, or even budget! It’s crazy common for solopreneurs to discount their work or take on less-than-ideal clients because they are afraid that opportunities are limited.

🔎 Perfectionist Mindset If you haven’t published a blog post for two months because you’re still “tweaking” the last one, then this should sound familiar. Perfectionists hold themselves back from success because they aren’t willing to make mistakes. Their growth is limited because they rarely take action.

👀 Business FOMO Do you obsessively check on the competition? Stretching yourself thin to try to be on every single social platform? Copycatting 🙀 all their captions? Yup, you’ve got a case of FOMO. This limiting mindset makes one more obsessed with playing “competitor catch up” than being 100% authentic. Dream goals, clients, and marketing aren’t in alignment.

If you want to be a high-vibing ⚡⚡ badass entrepreneur then you must kick these limiting beliefs to the curb!

💜 You are enough.

💜 Keep going.
